(2/10/16) Boomer Labs and Joker Martini announce the release of Varo and its companion product SocketMXS.
Varo is a standalone application which allows artists to send commands to various software packages including; 3ds max, Maya, and Nuke. Varo uses the socket/port to send and receive commands, and with the ability to create tabs and filters, makes it easy to organize project files all in one place. Launching commands is as simple as double clicking on file name within Varo interface, placing all of the artists common operations in a single, well organized tool – a must for production environments!
Include with Varo is SocketMXS, a plugin for 3dsmax 2015 and 2016 that adds the ability to send commands directly to 3dsmax, a new functionality for 3dsmax.
List price for the package is $100 USD per seat. A free downloadable demo version and additional information is available from Boomer Labs at www.boomerlabs.com.
