Using Selection Operations

This example explains how the operation parameter works. This is useful when trying to remove, isolate, combine, or add specific items with another collection of items. The selection Operation parameter appears in most Object Selectors as seen in the image below.

 

 

Operation = Add

Adds the current node’s items to the incoming items.

Operation = Filter

Keeps items found both in the current node’s items and the incoming items.

Operation = Replace

Replaces the incoming items with the current node’s items.

Operation = Subtract

Removes the current node's items from the incoming items. This is useful for isolating a characters eyes, or leaves on a tree.
