Vexus Material

The Vexus Material is a special material type that allows the user to toggle amongst sub-materials to facilitate rapidly changing the material assignment between render passes.

 

 

 

 

Active Material

Indicates which sub material will be used at render time.

 

Load

Loads material libraries (*.mat).  Upon selecting the library to load, the users are given additional options on how the incoming materials will be merged into the scene.

 

Save

Saves the current list of materials to a material library file (*.mat).

 

Default

Specifies the base material.

 

Material Names

Specifies the sub materials names. When users first create or assign a shader to a material slot, the name field will automatically be populated using the materials name, otherwise users can manually enter or edit a name.

 

Material Slots

Specifies the sub materials.
