Does Max 2 AE work with Element?

Does Max 2 AE work with Element?
More newbie questions here, friends. Subject line says it all. I'm working on a project that needs to take cameras from AE into Max (and of course vice versa) and the AE guy is using the Element plugin. Does MAX2AE play nice with this plugin? Thanks for any and all advice.
